Blood on Satin LARP is set in a fictionalization of the real world city of New Brunswick, NJ. While most of the real world information presented on the internet or available else where about the city is to be held true, it is advisable to check with staff before you bring anything in game.

The city is a darker, grimmer place, where crime is a little more common and so is corruption. Poor people pack into overcrowded tenements far more than they do in the real world, and the rich live just a little bit more decadently, as if their purpose was only to further the cultural divide. This raises the cities population much higher than the real world equivalent allowing for more people to go missing every year and the crimes to go unsolved. Amongst all of it though the shadows here seem to gather in the the dark corners and in the reflection of peoples minds and they seem deeper and far more sinister as if monsters hide there, and its true monsters are hiding often in plain sight.
